Feel free to post all the information of your characters here. Create a thread with your name (or something else anybody can recognize to find your characters) and enter new characters as posts. More or less information can be included than in your original application. It's up to you!

Sub-boards: Intros and Welcomes, Forum games, Help / Advice, Chit-Chat

The outskirts of the city is a wasteland of what used to be suburbs. Now long grass and some of the smaller wild animals have taken over. The roads are cracked and uneven; this is the first place the newcomers reach when they're let in. It's also the first really dangerous area; out of the range of the guards' protection, newcomers can get picked off my some of the older and meaner city residents, hiding in the old burbs and ready to strike. The guards may be watching, but the chances they'll help is slim to none...

Main Street is a long street that almost spans the entire town. Shops that line the street have all been looted. Windows are all broken and shelves are knocked over and empty. The newest members of the town usually end up here first because it is quite close to the main entry point and gatehouse. Main Street is a generally peaceful place to be.

Most residents live here. It is a small part of town where there is a silently agreed-upon law that no fights take place here. All the tightly compacted buildings are decrepit and falling apart, much like the rest of the city. There is no air conditioning or heating so they are extremely hot in the summer and cold in the winter. Often, unexpectedly, roofs cave in and parts of the apartments fall down so be careful and watch your step.

The Bridge is a dangerous spot. The middle has completely fallen out leaving a rather large hole in the middle. It is one of the only ways to get from one part of town to the other. Some of the braver and stronger residence of the town can jump it but the risk is great. The river that flows under the bridge is the main source of water for the town though it must be properly boiled to rid it of parasites.

This was once a beautiful place to spend an afternoon, now it’s overrun with vines and weeds. Tall, uncut grass grows everywhere. A large stone fountain in the centre is broken a cracked, Its old statues are missing parts and are almost unrecognisable. Its stagnant water is thickly layered with algae as is the small lake in the centre of the deserted park. Many animals take refuge here so be warned...

In the centre of the city are a cluster of tall buildings which were once filled with serious men in stuffy suits. They now stand ungracefully looking upon the city. Windows are missing and walls have gaping holes. Inside, the hole where the elevator used to be is where many had thrown their trash making a putrid smell drift from its depths. Floorboards are missing, wiring and old copper pipes are exposed everywhere. Whether inside or outside the buildings, beware of broken glass and protruding metal.

Shops have all been raided and shelves knocked down. The halls are completely dark and musty, with long hanging tree roots dangling from above. Some still come here to scavenge what others had left behind. It’s unlikely to find anything of value. Good luck looking.

The school is one of the creepiest places to pass one’s time. It’s falling apart like everything else in the town yet it seems clear that everyone just up and left the town without warning. Some school supplies sit on desks. Notebooks are still open with things written in them and lessons are still on the board.

The Slums are one of the most dangerous parts of town. They are a large, intertwining web of indistinguishably similar alleys that are a common host to the frequent gang wars. The only ones who can really navigate these passages are the more experienced gang members. It’s almost guaranteed that entering this labyrinth is suicide.
